BIG IDEA: Elders: What are they? Who are they? How will they serve?
1. What are they?
An elder is:
a. Overseer/bishop (episkopos)
b. Pastor (poimen)
c. Elder (presbuteros)

2. Who are they?
a. Do you lead your household well?
b. Do you live an exemplary life for others to follow?
c. Do you study, teach, and defend the faith?

3. How do they serve?
Elders will be primarily responsible for:
a. Doctrine
b. Discipline
c. Direction
